Hi,

Here's a submission for your single speed gallery. I bought this Kuwahara "Count" frame and fork on ebay a while ago and this is the latest built up iteration. It's made in Japan from Ishiwata 022 tubing which any B'stone XO-1 owner can tell you is what the XO-1 is made of. There's a dent on the right side of the top tube but the paint is a really nice metallic gold that I want to keep so the dent stays. I can't find any history of this model but figure it was probably a late 80s mid-range model from this manufacture known more for BMX bikes.

I built it up from assorted parts lying around, namely:

Sugino crank 48 teeth chainring
Mavic open pro rim built on flip flop rear hub from Harris cycle with Surly 18T gear
Mavic CXP21 rim on Ultegra front hub
SR Laprede seatpost
Selle Italia Turbo saddle
Origin 8 bar
Nitto Technomic stem
Diacompe Power Controll 11 brake lever
Tektro 536 caliper
Kyokuto "Top Run" pedals with Avocet straps
Panaracer Urbanmax 700 X 32 tires

The tires and frame makes for a very smooth and comfy ride. Thanks for posting this.
