The pictures posted on your website inspired me to work on my old bike. I believe it is a 12 speed centurion. I live in the San Fernando Valley, California and a single speed bike is ideal for the terrain. I used the existing 40T front sprocket. Sawed off the 50T sprocket and used it as spacers. Visited Paul who runs a bike shop near my work place and installed new inner tubes, tires,chain and a bmx rear gear. Bought used shimano 105 calipers at e-bay and will install them as soon as soon as they get shipped. I intend to ride my single speed to work this summer.
