Hi
Jim,
Here's
another bike for the site. This time it's a Bianchi Cross Project
- Probably one of the last lugged cyclocross bikes to come out of
a big manufacturer.
It's
brazed from Dedaccia Uno Zero tubing and has room for 700x37s at
least. I'm currently running it as a Quickbeam-style singlespeed.
The combination of a 46/20 on the outside position, with a 42/24
on the inner position gives me a 62 inch gear for paved trails and
a 47 inch gear for off-road.
With
the intense heat this summer (a record 101 degrees yesterday) I'm
sticking to short rides on the local bike path. But I'm looking
forward to cooler weather and taking this bike cross-terrain as
fall comes on.
Thanks
for the site,
Jim
Bailey
