I
would like to submit another one of my bikes for 'cross. This one
is technically too old for Current Classics and I actually did race
it in cyclocross but not in it's current configuration. It's probably
too heavy for 'cross but it's a good back-up bike. Now it's a touring/commuting/rough-stuff
rig.
Early

Reynolds 531db tubing, Simplex dropouts
Peugeot hybrid fork
Sugino AT crank 46-42 half-step
Campy 980 deraillers and Simplex shifters
Shimano 600 13-32 6-spd freewheel
Araya rims and Suzue hubs
Kenda Kwest 700 x 35 tires
GB randonneur h/bar and Nitto Technomic stem, silver Bennoto tape
Brooks Conquest saddle
I
had cable stops machined out of stainless steel at work and brazed
on by a buddy of mine who also brazed on the rear cantilever studs.
Paint I sprayed myself. It is DuPont Centera, Chevy Truck White.
The last photo in the group was taken at Grand Lake St. Marys in
west central Ohio during a 125 mile solo day trip
