Tim's Tom Stevens Cross Bike

This is my newest bike. I sold my RB-1 (see Current Classic #75) this spring and had Tom Stevens build a cross bike for me. Tom was great fielding all my questions, taking measurements and being patient while I sorted out the details. The frame measures 59cm C-C and was comfortable from the first ride. I bought a second cross bike from the local shop and took all the parts off that bike to put on this bike thus the painted black theme.

Ritchey stem, Tiagra shifters, Oryx cantis and 105 ders work great. I changed out the crank for a FSA compact and will never ride a 130 crank again. The Alex wheels are very wide (25mm) and when matched with Panaracerâs 32s are very plush.

I ride this bike mostly on dirt roads and look forward to entering my first cross races this fall. I cannot recommend Tom Stevens more highly as his cost is very reasonable and his delivery time was very short. Thanks for letting me post.
