This 1982 Trek 614 (61 cm) is my first of many Ebay finds. It a very nice handling sport-touring bike and has become my winter/wet weather ride.

Here are the build details:

Frame: Reynolds 531 DB main tubes, Ishiwata Magny 10 stays, Nikko seamless lugs and Suntour GS forged drop-outs.

Fork: Ishiwata CCL semi sloping fork crown and Ishiwata Magny 10 fork blades.

Handlebars and Stem: SR Custom Alloy. Headset: Trek micro-adjust Headset.

Wheels: Campagnolo Nuevo Tippo large flange 36 whole hubs with Araya double wall rims.

Tires: Continental Ultra Gatorskin 27" x 1 1/4".

Crankset: Sugino AT Aero Mighty Tour Triple with 1/2 step gearing.

Bottom Bracket: Nikko. Freewheel: Suntour 888 Perfect 14-30 five speed.

Shifters: Suntour ratcheting bar end friction shifters.

Derailleurs: Suntour Cyclone Mark II.

Brakes: Dia-Compe 500G side pull brakes with CoolStop brake shoes.

Brake Levers: Dia-Compe levers with black Weinmann hoods.

Saddle: Brooks Team Professional pre-softened leather saddle with large copper rivets.

Seat Post: SR Laprade.

Pedals: Shimano PD-M324 pedals (SPD on one side and rat-trap on the other).

Chain: SRAM PC58.

Misc. Components: Blackburn alloy rear rack and frame pump, Nashbar low-rider front rack, VO brass bell, VO stainless steel water bottle cage, double wrapped Cinelli yellow/blue marble cork tape and SKS fenders.
