1992 Bridgestone XO-1. Most of the components are stock (Sugino cranks; Nitto bars; Sakae seatpost; Araya rims; Shimano cassette, shifters, derailers and headset; Dia-Compe brakes; MKS Sylvan track pedals) except for ...

- green Brooks B.17 Champion Special
- Nitto Technomic stem
- dummy levers
- Campy toe straps
- silver bell
-
SKS fenders
- green cloth, green twine and natural twine under shellac

I picked this up from a friend who owns my favorite local bike shop, after just complaining that I couldn't find an XO-1 for sale anywhere online. He grinned and pointed to the frameset hanging on a hook above my head -- the XO-1 he'd owned and ridden for a couple years (and put some dents in), then put to rest for awhile with the hope of overhauling it for a sale bike, which ended up happening when I overhauled it and then bought it from him.

It's been on and off road and performed really well in both situations. I use it to commute every day and if I had any money I'd get some nice racks to get the messenger bag off and make it even more useful. I feel pretty lucky to be an XO-1 owner.

It's a sweet bike.

Ciao!
