Here's an update to my Circle A Sport Tourer

http://www.cyclofiend.com/cc/2006/cc181-clivestandley1006.html

I've converted it into an around town/city bike. The build is a real mix of parts. Velocity Synergy rims with Phil Wood hubs, freewheel on the back. Tyres are Panaracer Tourguard 700C x 32. The gearing is 1x7 with a 13-28 IRD freewheel and a single 42t TA chain ring mounted on the middle position of a Sugino XD triple crank. The rear derailleur is an old Shimano Tiagra and shifting is done with a Rivendell barend Silver shifter.

The Albatross bars are great for the city as they give me a nice upright position so I can see through traffic. I use Tektro mountain bike brake levers and Tektro sidepull brakes. I've also installed some Cane Creek interrupter brake levers so that I can ride on the front part of the bar and still have brake levers close at hand. The handlebar has a combination of cork grips and leather wrapping.
