Herewith some shots of my 1987 Bianchi Vittoria that I bought new. For 13 years it was ridden with the original Victory 12 speed group during which time it accumulated over 30000km. In 1990 it was updated with a Campy Veloce 9 speed group. In addition to the frame and fork, the front wheel, seatpost, head bearings, handlebars and paintwork are all original.

Regards,

Roy Bird

P.S. The Victory group has been installed in a 1976 Dawes Kingpin which I have turned into a "hotrod" Bike Friday lookalike. I have some pictures of this which might qualify as a "classic shopping bike"!. It's got a Pantour suspended hub in front and old Profile tri-bars. It's been a huge success and performs well against 700 wheeled bikes on club rides.

I can send description plus photos if you are interested.

You can see it on our club website http://www.wsws.ca/organize/index.html
