This is my fiancee's single speed. It was a 80 Nishiki Prestige set up as a dreadful tri-bike. I stripped it to bare metal, debrazed and ground off all the bits associated with shifting. Primed and painted with appliance spray paint. Sanded and polished the crank arms. Added new pedals, an Origin 8 saddle and matching cork grips on mid-rise bars. Added some bar ends for climbing our steep hills. Its Tange Prestige frame rides like a dream.
