This is my '98/99 Pinarello Opera, steel framed with carbon seat stays with the bent, non-replaceable drop out. I got my new Pinarello FP6 a few weeks back and decided to keep this old beauty as a single speed townie. The original Dura Ace crank with an Origin8 42 tooth chainring & Wheels Mfg. chainwheel spacers are on the front.

I used a 16 tooth cog from an old Dura Ace 9 speed cassette on the original Mavic CXP33 wheels with an Origin8 conical spacer kit on the rear and a Shimano 9 speed chain. The old Shimano platform pedals were donated by my friend Dennis.

I broke the original Pinarello fork a few years back, so the fork, seat post and handle bars are now Easton, with the original Flite Pinarello saddle.
