Old Glory started as an unknown steel frame purchased on ebay. I was intrigued by the campy droupouts and chromed lugs with cutouts. It also came with a Campy headset and bottom bracket, both of which I reused.

The surprisingly light frame was painted red and blue and the white stripes and stars were designed with CorelDraw and then sent to a signmaker to convert into adhesive vinyl.

The crankset is a vintage Sugino 50T double with the inner ring removed. The original chain ring guard was painted blue to provide extra contrast to the white chain. Nashbar long reach brakes allowed conversion to a 700c wheelset with vintage Kenda black/blue 700x25 tires, plus leaving room for the mini chrome fenders.

Finally a blue leather Persons saddle and NoahÕs Arc handlebars completed the rebuild. I rebadged the bike using an Old Bicycle Company logo.
