I'm Phil from Perth, Western Australia and this is my 1986 Kuwahara single speed converted from road bike mode. The frame came off a pile of old bikes at a friend's restoration site. The frame was sand blasted and then powder coated white. The back wheel was a hand me down from a friend and the Velo seat and seat post came with the frame. Just about everything else was new- all no-name gear, but it's a great ride. Currently the gearing is a 52/20 combination and seems to work well. Finished it off with Shimano Mountain bike clipless pedals and Conti Gatorskin tyres/tubes.
