Switched out the saddle,seatpost,stem,brake levers,freewheel,pedals/clips.
Brooks saddle for comfort, brooks bar tape to go with brooks saddle!
Pursuit bars from American Cyclery in San Francisco, Stem found in Van Nuys...

Purchased a ACS freewheel, but the sound was deafening, replaced it with Shimano 18T (industry standard to coin a phrase from Mr. Brown.)
cheap plastic pedals and clips, so I won't hurt anyone getting on and off subway trains.
rockshox seatpost had been sitting in garage for at least 10 years... ...unused!
specialized brake levers. snappy!
nothing really high zoot cept for the saddle and bar tape;
