This is an early 80s Takara 10spd frame which I rescued from a dumpster. I've owned it about 5 years and have gradually built it up as my regular commuter/errand bike. Some of it's modifications include, 70s era black Dura Ace high flange hubs with black Mavic OpenPro Rims and Conti Top Touring 2000 tires, Nashbar carbon fork and Cane Creek S2 threadless headset. The drive train is a 16 tooth BMX freewheel with 46 tooth chain ring. Future plans for "Barney" will include a Brooks saddle, dual pivot long reach rear caliper, and maybe a new paint job.
