Here's some photos of my Mongoose Croix Comp. I bought it new from Performance over the summer and have been very happy with it. In some of the photos you can see it in "Monster Cross" mode as I can fit 42c Ritchey Zed's or 45c Panaracer Fire Cross tires in there. I've taken it on centuries, mountain bike trails, and a few races - won my second ever race on it.

Some changes made:
Bars - now sports Planet X Anatomic Pro bars, with Lizard Skins bar tape (great stuff).
Front Der - picked up a Shimano 105 for $5 on eBay, replacing the stock 2200 series.
Rear Der - quite old Shimano Deore from a touring Cannondale. A bit finicky with 9-speed brifters but once dialed in works great.
Cassettes - 11-32 now in place of 12-26. I'm not too proud. Front chainring - replaced the 50 with a 46.
Planet Bike fenders (rear fender won't fit with the BIG tires) and small front rack (commonly found at Nashbar, although I found it elsewhere.

I am very happy with this bike, and it has pretty much become my go-to bike for almost everything.
