Here are some pictures of my 1986 Miyata One Thousand.Ê

It came to me with all original parts including, Shimano Deore XT "deer head" derailers, Shimano 600 headset, Shimano 600 cranks and burly 36 front / 40 rear spoke wheels. ÊI'veÊswitched out some of the parts, adding my Brooks saddle, Cinelli bars, Nitto stem, hand-rigged rear bag and a Blackburn front rack with a Wald basket. Ê

Its my first legitimate touring bike and I've been taking it camping through the foothills around Calgary, Alberta. ÊI'm planning some longer out-of-Canada tours next summer.Ê
