Hi all,

This is a 53 cm 1997 Carrera Andromeda, rescued for me by the Tenafly Bicycle Workshop. I am using 9 speed Veloce rear derailer with 9 speed Veloce brifters that shift a Wheels Manufacturing 9 speed cassette which is a respaced Ultegra cassette to allow shifting with a Campagnolo gearing set up. The front derailer is Centaur, and the cranks are Veloce. The rear wheel consists of an Ultegra hub laced to a DT Swiss Rim, and the front is built from an Ultegra hub laced to an Open Pro rim. I am currently using Continental Grand Prix 4000 tires (622-25). The handle bars, stem and seat post are from Velo Orange, and the saddle is a Brooks Swift. The bike rides like a lighter Rambouillet - very stable and a great going down hills and through turns.) I use this for fast, comfortable riding.
