The photos attached are all taken with a phone camera so they are not the best. These photos document the build of my Surly Long Haul Trucker. I picked the components based on the same basic concept as the factory built bike but with some personal differences. I don't like down bars so you see the riser bar with bar ends. The shifters are the relatively new dual action brake/shifter lever. I am not afraid to take this bike off-road but that is not its main purpose. I commute with it and will tour with it. It is now 4 weeks old and is approaching 400 miles.
