Hi,
This
is my 2008 Rivendell Atlantis. I got in January of 2009 at Mountain
Sports Limited in Bristol,VA. I test rode a built up version before
I bought the bare frame/fork they had on hand. Then I pieced everything
else together over the next couple of weeks. It's a fantastic bike
to ride. The biggest problem is it makes it difficult to want to
ride anything else. I found I like changing the handlebars around
so I followed an idea I found online and installed Davinci splitters
on the shifter cables and rear brake cable so I can easily swap
out the handlebars. Going from noodles to albatross bars changes
the ride entirely, but both of them are wonderful. Being able to
swap back in forth quickly (takes about 5-10 minutes) is great,
too. I ride it everywhere unless I'm riding on our tandem. Put on
the albatross bars and it is great for around town, put on the noodles
and it rides excellently for distances. A bike for any type of riding.
