Jim...

Here are some pics of some updates I did to #507 Kogswell PR.

Antique TA Pro 5 Vis 50/34 170mm
Phil Wood ISO Taper 125mm BB - Despite the long spindle, the arms barely clear the chainstays!
The DA cup and cone BB it replaced was only 113mm with the DA crank!
Schmidt Son 28 hub and Edelux light
Hetre tires - Barely fit under the stock Kogswell fenders but the fenders are no longer totally effective at controlling water - it sprays out from the side of the fenders.
Gilles GB28 bag.

The bike is a little heavier than before but the ride and the utility is much improved. The tires are the most pronounce update. I should stock up on these b/c I think there is none better! I am now down to one full size (except for the Bike Friday Pocket Randonneur CF#78) road bike and this is it. It serves every purpose very well.

Drinking Jans Koolaid and loving every sip!
