I bought this 59 cm Raleigh Competition brand new in 1980. It's been through several reincarnations, finally becoming an Italian - full Campy NR right down to seatpost, BB and headset. The crank is 49/42, the rims are Ambrosio Synthesis glued up with big fat Clement Campionato del Mondos. You can see a catalog picture of the original black-and-silver Competition on the late lamented Sheldon Brown's Retro Raleigh site. (I have a second one in original condition, I might post some photos of that sometime.)
