Hello there.

I'd like to submit my bike to your gallery if I may, he's a Planet-x Kaffenback built up as a fast tourer. Goes by the name of Drake.

The photos below show the third build of this bike, with the exception of the first photo (the one with the cranes if I've formatted this correctly!) which was between Mk I and II.

Current spec is: Shimano 105 mechs, XTR SPd's with ultegra chainset and hubs laced into mavic A719 rims. Shifting is via DA bar-end shifters, in friction mode as they're 9 speed and there is temporarily a 10 speed chain and cassette back there. Tektro oryx cantilevers operated by shimanos R600 brake levers bring me to a stop. Nitto seatpost, rack randonneur bars and stem with SKS mudguards and a Ti B17 finish off.

Used mainly for longer day rides during the summer as well as light touring.
