This bike was an effort to personify the gorgeous old DeRosa I missed in 75. It had hearts cut into every lug and the kind of detail and workmanship that Ugo gave up shortly thereafter. Baylis outdid himself as usual, with incredibly lug thinning and wonderful detail, such as the club shaped cutouts for the reinforcing hole on the seat lug binder. The fork crown started life as a crude Cinelli SC which was elaborately shaped to fit the profile of the Columbus blades. Bella!
