Here are some updated photos of my "Cannonized-Specialdale" It's getting more, ummm, Special.

Main changes are:
Nashbar Compact double crank (Love the low gears)
Nashbar pedals and headset $9
bargain bin Specialized saddle from local LBS
Specialized tires
Nitto Technomic Stem (Purely for looks)
Rivendell Brass Bell

I still really love this bike. It's done dayrides and centuries, and with a backpack it's an OK commuter and shopper for dry Southern California. By the way, that's my cat Smore having a stretch. She's a stray that just showed up one night about a year ago.
