Hi Jim,

Here's my "Vivian", a 1983 Miyata 310, stripped and nickel plated. An ebay find as frame and fork, it's odyssey begun eight months ago... (cue the dreamy "remember-back" harp music) http:// www.bicyclefixation.com/50buckbike.html (Take a moment and read this tale - ed.)

Now, ready for weekend rides and short credit-card tours, Vivian's a far cry from my Mule (#86 Revised). She is smooth, quick, and nearly silent as she moves. Despite her slight handicap, she takes the worst bumps L.A. streets have to offer with equanimity. She is a lot of fun and my bestest riding buddy. Here are a few photos and a parts list for those who are interested.
