Here's my Nishiki Prestige.
I
found the frame about 6 months ago when I was trying to sell an
aluminum Cannondale (ugh!). When a guy came looking at the Cannondale
I told him I was looking for an older steel frame and he mentioned
he had a Nishiki that he'd bought in the late 80s as a spare frame
that he was thinking about selling. It sounded good, so I asked
if I could take a look. The bike was still in it's original box
with bubble wrap on it! I bought it and built it up using some parts
I had lying around and also some new and unused older stuff from
the LBS and Rivendell. It gets ridden all around town, some light
trail riding, and weekend rides around the lake. The Seattle to
Portland ride is coming up, which will be it's first long ride (about
200 miles).
