Hi
Jim,
Here
is my dream-ride, made-to-measure Waterford.
It's
an RS-22, 57cm seat tube with 56 top tube and a 2cm head tube extension.
Build by Dennis Stone at Stone's Cycles in Alameda, Calif.
The
drive train, shifters and brakes are all Campagnolo Chorus, with
Record headset and bottom bracket. Wheels are Chorus hubs laced
to DT Swiss spokes and rims, built by Steve "Gravy" Gravenites at
Gravy Wheels in San Anselmo, Calif. Michelin ProRace 700x25 tires.
Seat post is an NOS Campy Chorus Ti, sourced from Australia via
eBay. Brooks Swift saddle. Nitto Technomic Deluxe stem and Rivendell
Noodle bar. Saddlebag by Gilles Berthoud. Pedals are Shimano 959,
mostly because I already had them on my mountain bike.
Planned
additions, changes include Nitto rear rack and Berthoud panniers,
Speedplay pedals, cloth bar tape.
