I had noticed this "not for sale" 1995 Bontrager CX frame hanging in a Flagstaff shop for four years. I couldn't stand it any longer, so I made an offer the owner couldn't refuse.

To get things rolling, the frame needed some mates: Nitto stem and Albatross bar, Bontrager post, Shimano XT controls, derailers, V brakes, pedals, and cogs, Raceface cranks, King GripNut headset, wheels with King hubs and Velocity rims built by Dave's Wheels, and Bontrager tires.
