Bikes
like these 1930's models are still manufactured today, due to their
simplicity, reliability, and longevity, which makes them a smart
choice for transportation. Modern additions to my Hercules are the
Zefal Solibloc pump and Wald folding baskets hung off the rear rack.
Indian owners' maintenance rarely extends past the odd puncture
repair, done by sidewalk or road-side "puncture-wallas".
