North American Handmade Bicycle Show 2007 / nobilette01Mark Nobilette was showing his Deluxe Demontable Randonneur frame with rack. This frame featured his own design for a take-apart frame - a thoroughly slick and simple approach that looks like it locks solidly in place. The bottom bracket section has a pin which notches into an angled cutout in the downtube (not visible when it's all together. When you put the downtube into the bb, the whole thing pivots to lock into place, then it's tightened with the two bolts.(Continued on next page) |
